Regarding the branch of differential geometry, the conformal mapping and equiareal mapping are well-known schemes. These schemes, including surface remeshing, surface registration, and morphing have three advantages. One of the advantages is that reducing the dimension to apply the image processing in 2D. Secondly, keeping the information to be a one-to-one mapping. Third of the advantages is university, and it could present and deal with all the images in the way of conformal mapping and equiareal mapping. For example, the boundaries of cerebral parenchyma and lateral ventricles are obtained from the brain MRI segmentation. Then, the mesh grids and vertices are generated by using grid generation algorithm. Furthermore, based on Conformal Energy Minimization(CEM) and Stretch Energy Minimization(SEM) theory, a simplification imaged is delivered via this progress.
